Synopsis
In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to shoot an adult film on a rural Texas farm, but when their reclusive elderly hosts catch them in the act, the crew finds themselves fighting for their lives.. The Day After X (2022) ) premiere South by Southwest writer /director Ti West has revealed that he wrote the prequel to Pearl (2022) during a mandatory two-week COVID-19 quarantine at his hotel in New Zealand, before filming could begin. He asked star Mia Goth if she wanted to stay in New Zealand to film "Pearl" and she willingly accepted.

The title doesn’t even appear on the screen until the end. It’s literally the entire movie. 'Action and Carnage' it’s actually pretty tame. The characters are idiots.
