Synopsis
Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and director-writer Todd Phillips talk about what scared them the most about making a musical sequel. . The subtitle of the film is "Folie a Deux" means “The Folly of Two”; in French. This initially led to speculation that Harley Quinn would appear in the film, which was confirmed shortly after.

The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrists Charles Lasègue and Jules Falret. The term was coined to refer to two or more people who share the same insanity or delusion. The foreman of the jury speaks of “the people of New York”; Instead of Gotham City. This is because New York State is the plaintiff in the criminal case, and this version of Gotham City is apparently located in New York State (most versions have Gotham in New Jersey). It was a complete waste of time
The film opens with the Looney Tunes title sequence, featuring the Warner Bros. logo surrounded by rings and the Joker’s face. Appears in AniMat’s Crazy Comic: The Wicked Discovery of a Lifetime (2022). Merrily We Roll Along Written by Eddie Cantor, Murray Mencher and Charles Tobias. As a big fan of the Joker, I expected a strong return five years later.
Save time and money
The movie was a complete drag. Every time I thought the movie would take a turn for the better, it got worse. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance was excellent, but the script was terrible. Through no fault of its own, Joker Folie A Deux is one of the worst sequels of all time. The movie seemed more like a display of Lady Gaga’s singing and acting skills, which is not great.
I think this might be the biggest box office of 2024
