Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. The townspeople are looking for a Bollywood cinema to escape from their daily routine. Nasir inspires the people of Malegaon to make a film for the people of Malegaon. He brings together his group of rowdy friends to realise his vision and bring new life to the town. The film is a heartbreaking yet uplifting exploration of cinema and friendship, and what happens when these two worlds collide.
